The Spirit of Herod vs. The Spirit of Christ

It was a dark night. There was no room at the inn.  Mary and Joseph found shelter in a stable. King Herod heard about the birth of a special boy.

He searched high and low to find him, so that he could kill him.  Herod didn’t want to be dethroned by a baby !

The Magi were warned in a dream not to go back to Herod.  Herod instead in desperation ordered that all boys ages 2 and under were to be killed.

The birth of Jesus was going to ruin his plans, his prestige and power.. But praise be to God that didn’t happen.  The Son of God came to earth in the form of a baby to humble himself to die on a cross!  Hallelujah what a Savior!

The spirit of Herod continues today.  Pray that  the people of Virginia will make room for the baby Jesus in their hearts and in turn will make room for all babies in Virginia.

Virginians For Life wishes you a most blessed Christmas celebration.

Baby Majority in the Senate

This year is almost over.  Two special elections lie ahead of us.  The babies of Virginia need to win this!

We must show up in record numbers to vote on January 7th and 21th.

If we are given the opportunity to win two more seats for the babies, this could be the tremendous opportunity we’ve been waiting for!

The end of child killing in Virginia could be closer than we think!

Look at what Spain is doing with a pro-baby majority.

Are you desperate for the heinous and cruel child killing to come to an end?  It’s up to us in the 6th and 33rd Senate Districts.  We must make it happen. Help us inform voters in these two districts by sending a donation to Baby Senate Majority PO Box 1620 Front Royal, VA 22630 or donate on-line  by clicking the above link.

Vote Today For the Babies in the 33rd District

If you live in the Fairfax and Loudoun County’s 33rd District, you have undoubtedly received robo calls from John Whitbeck,  or mailers and door to door visits from Ron Meyer  This is a crucial seat for the babies.   Both candidates are committed to the end of child killing in Virginia.

The Mass Meeting to choose the Pro-Baby candidate will take place at Park View High School in Sterling, VA, Monday December 16, 7:30 pm.  Doors open for registration at 6:30.

Also throwing his hat into the ring is former Delegate Joe May.

These candidates will then have the opportunity to run against Jennifer Wexton, endorsed by NARAL.

Joe May and Jennifer Wexton both have recently moved their residence to the 33rd district to run for this Virginia Senate seat.

This is a highly coveted seat for two of the four candidates to even consider changing their residence.

“Veteran state Del. Joe May moved into the Senate of Virginia’s 33rd District the first weekend of December.

Jennifer Wexton, a Leesburg attorney and former assistant commonwealth’s attorney in Loudoun, most recently took up residency in the 33rd in October.” – Loudoun Times

“Both May and Wexton are courting the support of the Loudoun and Fairfax County district’s more than 100,000 voters in an upcoming election to replace state senator and attorney general-elect Mark Herring (should Herring hold his advantage after a recount in his attorney general contest against state Sen. Mark Obenshain).”  -Loudoun Times

The 33rd District needs a pro-baby voice in the Senate.  If you live in this district, please come to Park View High School before 7:30pm to give the babies a fighting chance in the Senate.

The Virginia Senate’s 6th district also has a critical life and death vote.  Governor McDonnell has set the Special Election for January 7, 2014, one day before the General Assembly begins on January 8.  It is highly advantageous to get two pro-baby Senators in those seats.  If both the 6th and 33rd districts go to the babies, we will tip the scales from death to life.   We could have a majority in both the Senate and the House!

As soon as the candidates are chosen for the 33rd District, we can start promoting the pro-baby candidate.  We already are in dire need of funds for promoting the Senate race in the 6th district.  Your gifts help us promote the candidates that will stop child killing in Virginia.

Please contribute whatever you can to help end the child killing of the innocent pre-born by sending us a check to: Virginians for Life PO Box 1620 Front Royal VA 22630 or online donation to:

The babies need your help.  The Virginia Senate must turn pro-life.  Please give them a chance during this season of Everlasting Life coming down to us in the form of a baby.  Don’t delay.

Pro-Baby Victory Needed in Senate

We all know that it takes approximately nine months for a baby to grow in her mother’s womb.  Too early a delivery could create some problems.

The House of Delegates 11th District seat must be filled.  Delegate Onzlee Ware though he won on November 5th is vacating his seat to take care of his mother.

The House of Delegates already has a pro-baby advantage.  The 11th District Special Election has been announced by Governor McDonnell and will be held on January 7.

We’re eagerly waiting for the recount for Mark Obenshain, which could be done by mid December.  If he is declared the winner, his seat must be filled.  If that is the case, we must keep his seat for the babies.

Either way we still must make sure those two seats in the Virginia Senate go Pro-Life.

The Richmond Dispatch asserts in its November 28th edition,  “By law, the governor cannot call for a special election until he has received a letter of resignation from a sitting lawmaker.”

“While Northam could issue his resignation at any time, the uncertainty in the attorney general’s race makes it unlikely that Herring or Obenshain would issue a letter before being declared the winner.”

The anticipation is electric.  Candidates are waiting to work toward a victory.  Mailings, robo-calls and door-to-door efforts cannot launch until resignations are received from the Lt. Governor Elect and the Attorney General Elect for their current seats.

When the recount is done for Attorney General, it is possible that the Governor could call Special Elections for both seats on the same day.  But Mark Herring and Ralph Northam may decide to hold on to their seats until the final day on January 11

This could affect the Pro-Life balance in the Senate.  Such a decision could delay the special elections till mid session.

Virginians For Life must to be ready to launch our efforts to claim a victory for the babies.  We are watching and waiting for the moment to send out mailings and do robo-calls in the 6th and 11th districts.

We must have the funding necessary to get the Pro-Baby message out to the constituents of these districts.   The voter turnout for these Special Elections is typically slim.

Our efforts will get Pro-Life voters out to the polls for these literal life-changing seats.  The babies of Virginia deserve the advantage.  They must have an opportunity to get their message out.

The pre-born babies of Virginia want life!  We must give them their birthright!

We must conduct the same type of efforts as these candidates waiting to run in these special elections.  We must be prepared to engage as soon as the dates are announced.

Two more Pro-Baby Senators are all we need to give the babies a fighting chance in Virginia.

Help the babies get a Pro-Life majority in the Senate.  Give them a voice.
